| Incident | A grouped operational issue built from one or more findings |
| Scan / Workflow | A batch of test runs executed together against one target |
| Test Plugin | A reusable test implementation (54 built-in across 6 tiers) |
| Weight Class | Plugin resource category: LIGHT (seconds), MEDIUM (minutes), HEAVY (deep scans) |
| Fingerprint | Unique identifier for a finding type — prevents duplicates |
| Severity | Finding urgency level: CRITICAL, WARNING, or INFO |
| Effective Severity | Current severity after dynamic escalation rules are applied |
| Composite Score | Per-category aggregate (0–100): Security, SEO, Performance, Accessibility |
| Uptime Check | A single heartbeat ping to verify a target is responding |
| Maintenance Window | Scheduled period where alerts are suppressed |
| Deployment Event | A recorded deployment for incident correlation |
| Muting Rule | A rule to suppress specific findings from alerts and status |
| Automation Rule | Trigger/condition/action rule for automated responses |
| Journey | User-defined multi-step browser test flow |
| Page Fragment | Reusable step sequence shared across journeys |
| Test Profile | The set of enabled tests assigned to a target |
| Team Settings | Per-team configuration (AI, uptime thresholds, scheduling, etc.) |
